Effective December 1, 2013, the San Francisco School Alliance will be concluding our programs and passing the baton for our work to the San Francisco Unified School District and other partners. Read the entire SFSA Letter to the Community.
SFUSD Letter to the Community
On December 1, 2013 the San Francisco School Alliance will end operations. This letter from SFUSD Superintendent of Schools Richard Carranza and San Francisco Board of Education President Rachel Norton thanks the Alliance for its many years of work on behalf of San Francisco’s public schools. San Francisco Unified School District Wins Waiver to No Child Left Behind
San Francisco and 7 other California school districts have won a waiver to the No Child Left Behind accountability rules that will, in part, will put them on a fast track to implementing the new Common Core State Standards. Read the press release here.
