San Francisco School Alliance

It’s time to measure what matters. Based on the idea that everyone – from students to the superintendent – must have sufficient resources, information, and support to be effective, the district is developing a comprehensive new system of data and performance management. With the support of the Carnegie Corporation of New York and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, the School Alliance is working with the Superintendent and his team to transform the District to become more focused on services and improving a structure that will support our schools. The new system will provide transparency and critical information on school quality; progress for each and every student towards clear learning and achievement goals will guide the redesign of the district office as a center of support to schools.
